Shortly before the publication of The Missing Sister , Lucinda announced an eighth and final book in The Seven Sisters series, promising to answer the question at the heart of the story: who is Pa Salt? The series has gradually revealed tantalising clues to seven sisters' heritage and origins, culminating in this eighth and final book. He is a small boy found by Izabella (Maia’s great-great grandmother) under a cypress hedge in Paris. We last see Bo and Elle on 8 April 1940, where they are discussing leaving Bergen with a fisherman who is headed to Scotland.

I am sad to have come to the end of the journey which I have shared with a friend who introduced me to this series, she feels exactly the same.With so many characters and intertwining storylines, it made it a bit difficult to keep things straight at times.
