Since their earliest origins, candles have been used for ceremonial and religious practices that go from prayer to healing and transformation. The spiritual significance of the candle flame is well known. Clean burn, no wax left. If you have no wax left and all other signs are good, then your spell was successful. Be patient for it to come to fruition, but it should be on its way.Blue candles are great for spiritual or emotional healing, improving communication, and for tapping into your creativity. Light a blue candle to enhance focus, memory, justice, prophetic dreams, and inspiration. Like white candles, royal blue ones can be burned for harmony, peace of mind, truth, healing, and connection with the higher self. Green There are several ways to do this. You can simply meditate or daydream about your intention. You can chant if you feel like creating a small chant about your intention. You can journal, or speak aloud and perhaps record yourself. The choice is yours. Just find some way to focus your energy on the purpose of your spell while it burns. This is where you’re really pouring your energy into your spell and charging all the layers of meaning that you’ve built into your spell, so be sure to spend a fair amount of time on this! Step 6: Blow out the candle or allow it to burn out

There are times when you DON’T have to cleanse your candle. Which include if you’ve already been using it for one particular reason. For example, if you have a “working candle” that you only use to light your rituals or spells…it provides light and ambiance or extra energy to your working. You wouldn’t need to constantly cleanse it between each burning. The same goes if you’ve charged a large candle for prosperity and enjoy lighting it on a daily basis. No cleansing is necessary, unless you feel drawn to do so. In addition, if you MAKE your own candles, there’s no need to cleanse them after making them if you were putting your intentions into them during the creation process. Ways to Spiritually Cleanse a Candle: If you want candle spells for love or a candle sorcery book to work for you, you have to start by realizing the power of always having good and positive intentions. If there is any anger in your heart from the things that have happened to you in the past, this is the time to let them go. I know that it may not be easy in the beginning but as you practice, you will see that it becomes easier to be positive than to be negative.

Of course, you can also let your candles burn down. Depending on the spell, I will allow candles to burn down occasionally, generally for banishing, cursing, or other such magic. Keep in mind, you should NEVER leave a burning candle unattended! If you’re going to let a candle burn out, you MUST stay with it the entire time.
