HydroFlow uses electrolysis to split water (H2O) into its base molecules – 2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen, creating Ortho-oxyhydrogen gas. When inserted into the air intake of a vehicle, this highly flammable gas acts as an additive – significantly improving the ignition of the fuel within the combustion chamber resulting in a bigger, more efficient burn. The HydroFLOW® Pearl is a patented electronic water conditioner. It is a piece of equipment which fits around pipework and transmits an electronic signal into the water contained within. The signal propagates around the entire pipe system and causes the limescale present in the water to form into loose clusters. When the water is heated these clusters form crystals in suspension in the water which normally wash away with the flow, so that they no longer adhere to the inside of the pipework or to any other surfaces. We are in a very hard water area and shower screens etc do get very encrusted with scale. But googling the group suggests these Hydroflow thingies aren't useful. Comments to help me get my head round this are welcomed - really I need to know whether the work will maintain the heating system much better going forward even if it cannot undo pre existing damage and also any questions in particular I should ask the engineer if he does happen to phone me as requested.

Sustainability has been at the heart of our products long before sustainability became top of the agenda. Long term i am for sure installing a softener, but until the building work is complete using this as an interim fix.I'm sure I came across a requirement reading some regs the other day but damned if I can remember which. Possibly a BS, although all I can find at the moment is in BS5446:2000
