'North London MC, producer, DJ and runner of the 'Boy Better Know' grime label. As a rapper and MC, Skepta aims to make grime music for the masses. It must be working as he's so far graced the screen of MTV Base, the pages of i-D magazine and performed all over the world.

Lianne La Havas

O2 Academy Brixton, 211 Stockwell Rd

London SW9 9SL

Still just 25 but tipped by Prince and with a Top Five debut album under her belt, south London singer-songwriter La Havas recalls Feist and Erykah Badu with her velvety vocals and mellifluous, synth-shimmering folk-soul sound. Her new album ‘Blood’ could win her a second Mercury nomination – hear bits of it at this big Brixton gig.

Rihanna

 Various UK locations

'R'n'B superstar-on-the-rise The Weeknd and rapper Big Sean have already been confirmed as support, but the curious thing about Rihanna's tour is that it's preceded by her equally long-awaited eighth studio album. Rihanna's four previous world tours have been bombastic affairs, with spectacular costumes, choreography and stages set around elaborate themes.

Audience participation has always been part of her shows, with stages being laid out so the crowd can get as close as possible and Rihanna giving lap dances to fans she picked from the audience during the Loud Tour in 2011.'
