Joyful anticipation is so important to my sense of well-being, in fact, that I almost always plan for something to look forward to. Maybe we can learn from his experience and try to change the way we look at the planet and divisive things like countries, ethnicities, and religions. Adopting this manner of living short-circuits the expectations-disappointment-resentment loop and positions a person to appreciate what actually does occur.

I cannot keep track of anything much, yet he sees it all, knows it all intimately, and loves all he has made.

In NSW we were doing fairly well until some infected visitors from Victoria came north and have been spreading the virus as they go. All the ideas and concepts that divide us disappear when viewed from the perspective of orbit and the moon.I was judgmental, obstinate, self righteous, controlling, and care taking toward others–when all the time my own life was out of control and unmanageable. Without reservation in my mind or heart, I can truly say there is no place like my home‑sweet‑home group. Uncertainty prevented them from adapting to the change, keeping them focused on and attached to what they still stood to lose. This love was exhibited in my first meeting, when I mumbled something about my situation and cried, and everybody was silent, letting me say my little bit through my tears and sobs.
