He usado y disfrutado de los primeros baches de Gucci pour homme y pour homme II, de YSL Opium EDP, de The One cuando era una bestia, y me arrepiento de no haber tenido alguno más en su día como backup, porque tampoco tenía en mi cabeza coleccionar y tener esta afición, pero con éste. The opening has a piercing almost stinky (in a good way) brightness to it then it dries down to a powdery inoffensive oud accord. On my skin it opens up with a note of pear that reminds me of the Guccy by Gucci I wore when I was younger. Submit to the appealing composition of the fragrance, which will make you fall in love after the first sniff.

The new formulation has nothing to do with oud, it's bright, light with a fruity opening, resinous in the mid with a very light touch of oud. I think I overhyped it in my head because of all the raving reviews, but when I spray it I can smell it for maybe an hour and then i got anosmic. That being said for what it is, it remains a very basic oud fragrance didn’t expect more from a designer oud tho, but still I would go with something more complex than this. Also known as Frankincense, the oil is sourced from resin in Boswellia trees, collected from the bark in spring and autumn. Sadly my bottle ran out about 2yrs ago and I've since been on the fence about replacing it because ive seen too many reviews about reformulations and how it no longer is what it used to be in terms of depth and performance. After I used it for the first time, I let it age for about six months and its scent improved a lot, but its performance improved only slightly.The majestic Gucci Intense Oud hosts a gala in her bottle, with a guest list more exclusive than Princess Diana’s wedding. Oud is housed in a sophisticated yet straightforward bottle with golden letters engraved in black glass finished off with a golden cap. The opening isn't my favourite but about 15mins in it really dries to a clean and just beautiful scent. I have some that I particularly like, but they have hints of oud, and aren't listed as the main scent as oud.
